MoDOT St. Louis Area District News Release
Dan Galvin (314) 524-9128
NOTE: Eastbound I-64 will be striped into its final lanes just west of McKnight Road on Monday, October 26, weather permitting. The temporary right lane exit only to McKnight will be changed into a through lane. The left lane will be closed from just west of McKnight to I-170. There will continue to be three through lanes on eastbound I-64 allowing motorists to exit to Brentwood and I-170 just east of the McKnight interchange, but the lanes will be shifted over one lane from what motorists have been driving since December 2008. Motorists need to pay attention to the left lane closure and the change in the right lane. This striping is part of the efforts to finish the road and be ready for an opening of I-64 from I-170 to Kingshighway at the end of this year.
