MoDOT to close Harvester Bypass for long weekend
ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Fred Weber Inc. will close the Harvester Road bypass between the north and south outer roads at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23. At that time, crews will pour the pavement to connect Harvester Road with the recently completed Harvester Bridge, which will eventually go over the new Route 364 which is currently under construction. This work will take until 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26. Southbound Harvester drivers will not be able to access Route 364 from Harvester during the work. The Harvester Bypass will remain closed during Monday morning rush hour traffic.

Both north and south outer roads will remain open. Drivers on the north outer road will be able to access the northbound Harvester lanes north of Route 364. Drivers on Harvester heading north will be able to access the south outer road at the signal at Harvester. To detour between the southern half of Harvester and the northern half, take the south outer road to Jung Station, make a left under the Route 364 bridge and another left onto the north outer road and follow it to Harvester. To get from the northern half of Harvester to the southern half, take Queens Brooke to Jungermann Road, turn left onto Jungermann Road, take a left onto Old Highway 94 and follow it to Harvester.

This work is part of a $19.7 million project to construct Route 364 between Jungs Station Road and Woodstone Drive. Construction work starts soon on new outer roads between Jungermann and Central School Road, part of a $44 million project to construct the next section of Route 364.
