FESTUS - The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will host a public meeting Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Jefferson R-7 Fire Protection District, located at 13000 State Road TT, in Festus, Mo.

The meeting will be held in an informational, open-house format, to discuss a project to replace 18 culverts along Route TT and one culvert on Route AA in Jefferson County. Representatives with MoDOT will be available to discuss the planned improvements, answer questions, and hear input from the public. Since there will be no formal presentation, the public may attend at any time during the open house.

Those attending can view plans for the upcoming project. MoDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.  Participants will also be able to submit comments in writing until November 13, 2009.

This project is scheduled for a July 2011 contract award.
