I-64 and Route 370 – Install traffic sensors and cameras. This project will install intelligent transportation system devices along I-64 from Route K to I-70 and Route 370 from the Missouri River to I-70. Work is progressing and should be finished early in 2010. There should be minimal impacts to traffic.
Route 40/61 (Interstate 64) from west of Lake St. Louis Blvd. to east of I-70. Upgrade to interstate. This will eliminate all at-grade crossings and construct a new interchange, with overpass, at Prospect Road. The last signal at Callahan Road has been removed and the Prospect interchange/bridge has opened. Construction continues on the outer road through Fall 2009. Drivers can expect permanent local road closures through the end of the project and occasional lane closures during non-peak traffic times. There should be a moderate impact to traffic.
I-70 from 5th Street to Route 61 – Upgrade the traffic signal systems along the outer roads and ramps. Construction will continue through winter 2010. Drivers can expect some lane closures on the outer roads and ramps during non-peak travel times.
I-70 at 5th Street, Zumbehl, Cave Springs and Mid Rivers – Crews will repair pavement and lay asphalt on ramps, outer road segments and cross streets. Work is scheduled to start in March 2010 based on weather.
I-70 from Route 94 to Mid-Rivers Mall Drive - Crews will put a thin asphalt overlay on the roadway. This project should start in summer 2010.
I-70 at various locations - Crews will rehabilitate a number of bridges along the I-70 corridor in St. Charles County. Bridges include three at Route 370, four between Dardenne Creek and Route K and Zumbehl, Cave Springs and Mid Rivers Mall Drive. Work should start in spring 2010.

Route 94 from I-70 to Route 40 – Install traffic sensors and cameras. This project will install various traffic management devices along Route 94. This work should have minimal impact on through traffic. Work should begin in early 2010.
Route 94 from 5th Street to Route D - Interconnect signals. Crews will work to interconnect signals along sections of Route 94 to improve traffic flow. This should have minimal impact on through traffic. Work will begin in early 2010
Route 364, east of Harvester Road to west of Central School Road. Extending Route 364 and the one-way outer road system. This project will build an overpass for Harvester Road. There will be some lane restrictions. The contractor will continue grading for mainline Route 364 pavement from Harvester to Woodstone. Concrete pavement for this section of the project will be placed sometime in spring 2010. Project will also build bridges at Woodstone, Jungermann and Central School Road. Projects beginning later in spring and summer 2010 will continue building Route 364, outer roads and bridges down to Mid Rivers Mall Drive. There may be a significant impact to traffic.
Route 370 at the Missouri River - Crews will rehabilitate Route 370 bridges over the Missouri River as well as repair and rehabilitate three bridges over Norfolk and Southern Railroad. Work is expected to start in late summer 2010.
Route DD - Add shoulders and a left turn lane from south of Route 40/61 (Interstate 64) to Frontier Middle School. Work will start in summer 2010 and should be complete this year.
