You're Invited...Counting Down to Completion
Come walk, run and bike on the new Route 364/Page Phase 3 from I-64 to Route K on October 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.!
***IMPORTANT TRAFFIC NOTES***
MoDOT and its contractor, Page Constructors, will be making additional traffic changes to the area around Route 94/Mid Rivers Mall Drive as crews make the final connection from Route 364/Page Phase 3 to the existing stretch of Route 364.
The first step will be to shift traffic for drivers on westbound Route 94/Route 364 to the new bridge. That will require traffic to be restricted to one lane starting at 6 p.m. Friday, September 26 through 5 a.m. Monday, September 29.
Traffic will merge into one lane over the new bridge where it will merge again with traffic coming from Mid Rivers Mall Drive.
Traffic from Mid Rivers Mall Drive will need to yield with traffic coming from westbound Route 94.
In addition, the speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph.
When the lanes reopen on Monday morning, drivers coming from westbound Route 94/Route 364 will have two lanes across the new bridge to continue onto westbound Route 94. This will be a temporary traffic condition until the new Route 364. At that time, the ramp will be two lanes - one coming from westbound Route 94/Route 364 and one coming from Mid Rivers Mall Drive.
Making the final connection from Route 94/Route 364 to the new Route 364/Page Phase 3 will also require traffic on eastbound Route 94 to be detoured for about a month. The detour will require traffic on eastbound Route 94 to exit eastbound Route 94 at Mid Rivers, go through the intersection and back onto Route 94/Route 364. The public is encouraged to use alternate routes while crews work to complete the project. The exact date of the detour will be available soon.
***PREVIOUS ANNOUCEMENTS (updated April 2014)***
Changes have been made to the design of an intersection on the Route 364/Page Phase 3 project. Route 364 is a design-build project, which means the design of the road is happening at the same time as construction. The westbound Route 364 exit to Bryan Road will now be a roundabout instead of a folded diamond interchange. The change means Route 364 will now open in two phases instead of three. The stretch from I-64 to Route K will open in early October, with all lanes of the new road open by October 31.

About the project:
MoDOT, St. Charles County and local municipalities teamed together to allocate $118.2 million towards building Route 364/Page Phase 3. The $118.2 million will be used for purchasing property, utility relocations, design and construction. The project includes building an improved connection from Page Phase 2 at Route 94 and Mid Rivers Mall Drive to I-64/US Route 40/61 at Route N.
MoDOT used a Design-Build contracting process to have contractor teams compete to win the contract. The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission approved the contract on February 6, 2013, awarding the project to the Page Constructors Joint Venture, which includes Fred Weber Inc., Millstone-Bangert Inc., Kolb Grading and lead designer, Parsons Transportation Group.

What will be built?
Page Constructors is designing and building a four lane divided freeway for nine miles from Route 94 at Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St Peters to Interstate 64 in Lake Saint Louis. The new highway will include the following:
additional ramps connecting Route 94 and Mid Rivers Mall Drive to Route 364
bridge over Motherhead Road
Gutermuth Road bridge over Route 364
Single point interchange at Route K with widening of Route K to six lanes north and south of the interchange
roundabout at Bryan Road with north outer road extended from Stump Road to Bryan Road
bridge over Hanley Road
bridge over Henke Road with ramps to and from the east
new ramps to complete the cloverleaf interchange at I-64
Schedule for construction:
Route 364/Page Phase 3 construction started in May 2013. There will be construction activity along all nine miles of the project until the new road opens in sections in the fall of 2014 with the entire new road open by the end of October 2014. The entire project will be complete by late November 2014.
