WHAT’S HAPPENING IN 2008?
- Route 47 at Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad at Route 30 - Replace the bridge, and relocate the Route 30/Route 47 intersection. Construction began in early 2006 and is underway. Completion of the project is expected in summer 2008.
- Route 185/Elmont Road at Interstate 44 - Construct new overpass and upgrade the roadway. Construction is underway and is expected to be complete by fall 2008.
- Route 100 at Little Boeuf Creek (½ mile east of Route 185) - Replace the bridge. Construction is expected to begin in summer 2008.
- Route 100 from I-44 to Route 47 - Widen highway and construct new lanes. Construction is expected to begin in summer 2008.
- Route 47 Missouri River Bridge - Environmental study has begun.
- Interstate 44 at Pacific - Construct new eastbound on-ramp at Lamar Parkway. Construction expected to begin in early 2009.
