Security Cameras at Reavis Barracks Commuter Lot

To address customer concerns about safety at commuter lots, the Missouri Department of Transportation has installed video surveillance cameras at commuter lots at Route 141 at Interstate 44, and Reavis Barracks at Interstate 55 as part of a one-year pilot project.

MoDOT will be able to view real time video, and can share documentation with local law enforcement agencies.

MoDOT is spending $22,800 dollars to contract with Watchtower Security Inc. for installation and maintenance of the video surveillance systems. After one year, MoDOT will decide whether to expand or continue the service with feedback from customer surveys.
