JASPER COUNTY: Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) Southwest District have closed the intersection of County Road 290 and MO 171, just north of Spring River as repairs are made to the roadway.

Recent local flooding caused damage to the existing road surface to the extent that a complete closure was necessary while repairs are underway.

Initial estimates are that the repairs could take up to 30 days.
