Lane Closings on Route 13 Expected North of Springfield
When Resurfacing Project Begins Week of July 28

Greene County - Drivers can expect mainly nighttime lane closings on Route 13 between I-44 in Springfield and the Greene/Polk county line south of Bolivar when a resurfacing project begins the week of July 28, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

Contractor crews expect to do much of their work at night to resurface the northbound and southbound driving lanes of Route 13 and the shoulders of the highway.

The nighttime lane closings will take place between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.

Crews expect to start on the north end of the project at the Greene/Polk county line in an effort to avoid Ozark Empire Fair traffic while the fair is underway.

It is possible that crews may decide to work during daytime hours when working at the north end between Greene County Route WW and the Greene/Polk county line.
