Greene County - A project that will extend the six-laning of Campbell Avenue (Route 160/13) south through the intersection of Plainview Road and will add turn lanes at the intersection of Campbell Avenue and Plainview Road south of Springfield is scheduled to begin the week of July 21, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Drivers can expect lane closings at night during the project. If lanes on Campbell Avenue or Plainview Road must be closed, crews will work between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Traffic impacts during the day will be minimal. However, drivers can expect crews to be working close to traffic during daytime hours.
Add one lane in each direction on Campbell Avenue from just north of Plainview Road to just south of Plainview Road
Add right-turn lanes from Campbell Avenue onto Plainview Road

The project is part of a larger project to relocate the Campbell Avenue outer roads on either side and improve traffic flow on Campbell Avenue and Plainview Road.
