Lincoln area, Benton County -- Plans to rehabilitate the Benton County Route T bridge over Truman Lake in 2013 will be the focus of a public meeting planned in Lincoln on Thursday, Jan. 17, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
The public is invited to attend the meeting which begins at 6 p.m. on January 17 at the Lincoln Elementary School cafeteria.
A short presentation will begin at 6 p.m. followed by discussions about proposed plans for handling traffic during the project which is expected to begin during the spring/summer of 2013.
The meeting could last until 7:30 p.m.
An online version of the meeting will be set up on the MoDOT web site -- modot.org/southwest.
The online meeting will show the same material with ways to contact the project engineers.
The project is expected to start in the spring/summer 2013. Once the project starts, the contractor will have 90 days to complete the project.
The estimated construction cost of the interchange is $868,000.
