SIKESTON - Route 177 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane with a twelve-foot width restriction while MoDOT crews perform pavement repairs.

This section of roadway is located from 177 and Route J intersection to one mile south of the intersection.

Weather permitting, the work will take place Thursday, November 05 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The work zone will be marked with signs.  Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
