Southbound Interstate 55 in New Madrid and Pemiscot Counties will be reduced to one lane with an 18 foot width restriction while MODOT crews perform pavement repairs. 

The section of roadway is located from Route 162 to Route T.

Weather permitting, work will start at 8:00 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2 and will reopen Thursday, Nov. 4 at 3:00 p.m.      

The work zone will be marked with signs.  Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
