Route 74/34 (Emerson Bridge) in Cape County will continue to be reduced to one lane while MoDOT crews perform routine bridge repairs.

This section of roadway is the Emerson Bridge between Sprigg Street and Illinois in Cape Girardeau.

Weather permitting, work will continue to be done Monday, October 26 from 8:00 a.m. and will end Thursday, October 29 at 4:00 p.m. 

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
