Route 74/34 (Emerson Bridge) in Cape County will be reduced to one lane while MoDOT crews perform routine bridge repairs.

This section of roadway is the Emerson Bridge between Sprigg Street and Illinois.

Weather permitting, work will be done Thursday, October 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Tuesday, October 20 from 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. 

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
