Penzel Construction plans on diverting traffic from the bypass onto the new constructed bridge over the Little White Water bridge on Route 72 in Bollinger County. Traffic is scheduled to be diverted to the new constructed bridge on October 15 or October 16. The work zone will have a posted speed limit of 45 MPH . This will allow the contractor to go to the next phase of construction, which is removing the bypass material, constructing shoulders and slopes, replacing asphalt shoulders and roadway to complete the project.

This section of roadway is located  2.5 miles west of Route 51 at Patton.

Weather permitting, the work is taking place Monday thru Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. The completion of the project is scheduled for the end of October.

MoDot urges motorist to read the construction signs as they approach the work zone.
