Route 61 in Cape County will be reduced to one lane while contractor crews perform striping and marking operation.

This section of roadway is located from Silver Springs Road to Southern Expressway.

Weather permitting, work will be done Tuesday, Oct. 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
