“David’s Law” Memorial Sign Program:
During the 2009 legislative session legislation was passed to enact “David’s Law”.
As required by the law MoDOT has drafted a Code of State Regulations that is being reviewed by legal counsel, and will then go before the Missouri State Highway Commission before being published in the state register. There will then be a public comment period before the rules and procedure for requesting a sign can be put into place.
The first probable date to complete the process for a sign request is March 1, 2010. Families can start to gather the needed information for the application.
Please continue to check this website for updates regarding the implementation of this program.
The current fee for one sign is $600 due with submission of the application.
