The Railroad Section also provides staff presentations on Railroad Grade Crossing safety issues to community, school, commercial driver, driver education programs, and other interested parties on the potential hazards at highway-rail grade crossings and how to avoid becoming involved in an accident. This program is presented in conjunction with Missouri Operation Lifesaver, Inc., a private non-for-profit organization dedicated to saving lives and preventing incidents at crossings and reducing the tragedy of those people that trespass on railroad property and are killed or injured.
