HANNIBAL - The following is a list of general highway construction and maintenance scheduled for November 2 through November 13 for all counties in MoDOT's northeast district. Weather conditions may cause postponements in the work schedule. Other maintenance work may occur on other roads throughout the area. This work will include lane closures and at times delays can be expected.

Crews will be working during daylight work hours unless otherwise indicated. Various forms of traffic control will be in place to secure the safety of the motoring public as well as the safety of highway crews.

All roadwork is posted on the traveler information map on the day it begins or at least one week in advance. Those traveling and the commuting public are encouraged to check the online map at www.modot.org daily for new work zones. Drivers are also invited to rate MoDOT work zones online at modot.org. MoDOT also offers e-update messages sent directly to your email when roadwork is scheduled. Sign up online or call MoDOT's customer service center at 1-888-275-6636.

Audrain County
Construction:
Route 15 -Paving operations completed in Mexico; conditions permitting paving operations north of Mexico should be complete by Monday, Nov. 2, 2009; location 24.3 miles in Audrain and Monroe Counties from one mile north of Route 22 to just north of Route 54 at Mexico.
Maintenance:
Route 19 & 54 - Nov. 2-6 crack sealing roadway, some areas with one lane traffic & flaggers.
Route 54 (south of Mexico at Beaver Dam Creek) Nov. 2-13 repairing slides, single lane traffic with signs & flaggers.
All routes - Nov. 2-13 replacing signs, shoulder work.

Clark County
Construction:
Route 61/27 - Completed - Surface work on 5 disconnected sections in southbound lanes from the Iowa State line south to the Lewis County line.
Route 61/27 - Install edgeline rumble strips, contractor scheduled to begin Mon., Nov. 2 on northbound and southbound lanes to Iowa line; moving operation - one lane traffic during daylight working hours. Work should take approximately 2 working days.
Maintenance:
Routes 61, 136 and 81 - Nov. 2-6 running retriever east of Rt. 26/61 junction and north and south of Kahoka on Rt. 81, moving operation with grader and protective truck.
Route 136 - Nov. 4-6 paint H piles, no road closure.
Routes CC, C, DD, B and 81 - Nov. 9-13 replacing CMP pipe and ditching in St. Patrick, work zone with flaggers for one lane operation using backhoe.

Knox County
Maintenance:
Route V - Nov. 2-6 working on bridges, no closure-signs up.
Route V - Nov. 2-6 installing tubes for field entrances, possible short-term traffic interruptions.
Routes 151, B and A - Nov. 2-6 patching potholes, no lane closures.
Routes K, M and 11 - Nov. 9-13 working on shoulders and driveways, possible short-term traffic interruptions.
Route V - Nov. 9-13 working on bridges, no closure- signs.
Routes 156, W, A and B - Nov. 9-13 working on drives, no closure- signs.

Lewis County
Maintenance:
Route 156 - Rescheduled for Nov. 2 closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., culvert located approximately ½ mile west of the Route D north junction.
Route H - Rescheduled for Nov. 3 closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. approximately 2 miles north of Lewistown, culvert located just south of County Road 322 or 190th Street.
Route 61 - Nov. 2-6 sealing cracks southbound driving lane closed from Route B to Route 16 at Canton, one lane traffic with 45 mph work zone.
Route 61 - Nov. 9-13 sealing cracks southbound driving lane closed from Route 16 at Canton to Route B south of LaGrange, one lane traffic with 45 mph work zone.
Route K - Nov. 3 culvert replacement, road closed from 12 to 3 p.m. approximately 3.5 miles north of LaBelle.
Minor Routes - Nov. 9-13 working on drainage issues and cleaning CMP.
Route 6 - Nov. 10-11 replace signs, no road closure.
Routes E and H - Nov. 12 patching potholes, one lane road.

Lincoln County
Construction:
Route 61 at Route U interchange - Project 55% complete - Bridge incidental clean up and grading roadbeds in preparation for baserock.
Maintenance:
Route 79 - Nov. 2-6 cleaning ditches, single lane traffic with flaggers.
All Routes - Nov. 2-13 mowing, moving operation with blocker truck.

Marion County
Construction:
Route 24 - Install edgeline rumble strips, contractor scheduled to begin Wed., Nov. 4 on east and westbound lanes west of Quincy; moving operation - one lane traffic during daylight working hours. Work should take approximately 1 day.
Route 24/36 - Install edgeline rumble strips, contractor scheduled to begin Thurs., Nov. 5 on east and westbound lanes at various locations from Hannibal to Monroe City; moving operation - one lane traffic during daylight working hours. Work should take approximately 5 working days.
Maintenance:
Route 24 - Nov. 2-6 working on erosion repairs under bridges, no closure.
Route 61 - Nov. 9-13 working on erosion repairs under bridges, no closure.

Monroe County
Construction:
Route 15- Job 95% complete- conditions permitting paving operations should be complete by week of Nov. 2; location 24.3 miles in Audrain and Monroe Counties from one mile north of Route 22 to just north of Route 54 at Mexico.
Route 151 - (Includes Shelby County) 30% Complete - Conditions permitting, contractor will be paving from Otter Creek to Madison. Resurfacing from Business Route 36 at Clarence to Route 24 at Madison, 22 miles.
Maintenance:
Route 15 - Nov. 2-13 spot patching, some areas with one lane traffic & flaggers.
Routes U, 107 & 154 - Nov. 2-6 repairing several approaches, no closures.
Routes 15, 24 & F - Nov. 9-13 repairing several approaches, no closures.
All routes - Nov. 2-13 replacing signs, shoulder work.

Montgomery County
Construction:
Route AC - Project 70% complete - pouring deck, bridge approaches and complete curb reinforcing. Road closed thru Nov. 20 to rehabilitate Cuivre River Bridge; detours over Routes AC, K, W, BB, 161.
Maintenance:
Minor routes - Nov. 2-13 replacing signs, shoulder work.
I-70 Ramps - Nov 9-13 repairing edge ruts on all ramps, intermittent lane closures, with signs & flaggers.

Pike County
Construction:
Route 61 - 43% complete, rumble strips, stripes and incidental work remains on diamond grinding project; moving operation with southbound traffic one lane during daytime work hours between Bowling Green and Eolia.
Maintenance:
Route Z - Nov. 1 hot mix patching, single lane traffic with flaggers.
Route HH - Nov. 2-3 hot mix patching, single lane traffic with flaggers.
Route H & PP - Nov. 4-6 hot mix patching, single lane traffic with flaggers.
All Routes - Nov. 2-13 mowing, moving operation with blocker truck.
Route 79 @ Claire Creek - Nov. 2-13 culvert maintenance, shoulder work only.
Route B - Nov. 9 replacing culvert, road closed between 8:00a.m. - 3:00p.m. approx. 1 miles east of Route 61 at Frankford.

Ralls County
Construction:
Route P - Job 70% complete; placing and tying deck rebar, and pouring deck. Road closed through Nov. 20 to rehabilitate Spencer Creek Bridge; road will be closed at the bridge with detours over Routes K, 19, 154.
Maintenance:
Route 24 - Nov. 2-6 working on erosion repairs under bridges, no closure.
Route 61 - Nov. 9-13 working on erosion repairs under bridges, no closure.

Scotland County
Maintenance:
Routes JJ and N - Nov. 2-6 working on edge ruts, moving operation.
Route 15 - Nov. 9 paint H piles, no road closure.
Routes N and H - Nov. 9-13 patching potholes, moving operation.

Shelby County
Construction:
Route 151 - (Includes Monroe County) 30% Complete - Conditions permitting, contractor will be paving from Otter Creek to Madison. Resurfacing from Business Route 36 at Clarence to Route 24 at Madison, 22 miles.
Route 36 - Project Status: Overall Project 75% complete - Shelby County area - 66% complete - Contractor will be paving near Hunnewell and on the eastbound lanes at Salt River. There will be several county roads closed for a few days when paving through the area. The speed limit in this work zone is 45 mph. The activities listed will create excessive truck traffic. Watch for trucks turning in and out of entrances. The westbound on/off ramps at Routes 36/15 at Shelbina are closed off for the contractor will pave a portion of the new highway, rebuild part of the ramps, and tie it in to the existing highway. Motorists driving west will be directed to take the first Shelbina exit to access Route 15 north and south. Detours clearly signed. Marion County area - 80% complete - Contractor will be grading at the west edge of Monroe City on the new eastbound lanes and laying base rock on the shoulders from the county line to just west of Monroe City. Speed Limit at various locations in this area are 35 mph and 45 mph where posted. Macon/Shelby County - Contractor has completed mainline paving from the West end of the project to Crooked Creek, approximately 1 mile West of Lentner.  Contractor continues hand pave at median crossovers and is laying aggregate base in preparation for paving further East yet this year.  All major earthwork is complete and only finishing and fine grading remain.  Work has resumed on the Route 36 bridge over Route FF since the bridge fills are now complete.  The Route 151 bridge over Route 36 was opened last month.
Maintenance:
Route E - Nov. 2 working on bridge drainage, temporary lane closure.
Route E - Nov. 3 hand patching, temporary lane closure.
Route N - Nov. 4-6 hand patching, temporary lane closure.
Routes AA, U, T and Z - Nov. 2-3 patching potholes, both lanes open.
Routes 36 and 15 - Nov. 4-5 blading shoulders, both lanes open.
Route 36 - Nov. 6 patching potholes, both lanes open.
Routes WW, A, DD and TT - Nov. 9-10 patching potholes, both lanes open.
Routes PP, FF, V and CC - Nov. 12-13 patching potholes, both lanes open.
Route JJ - Nov. 9-10 hand patching, temporary lane closure.
Route J - Nov. 12 working on shoulders and ditches, no lane closure.
Route W - Nov. 13 working on shoulder and ditches, no lane closure.

Warren County
Construction:
Interstate 70 westbound - Project 42% complete; paving operation in progress at night on westbound lanes. Work will take place at night, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Resurfacing from just west of Route 47 to the Montgomery county line.
Maintenance:
Minor routes - Nov. 2-13 replacing signs, shoulder work.
I-70 North Outer Road - Nov. 2-6 miscellaneous drainage & approach work, possible one-lane traffic at times.
Routes U & A - Nov. 9-13 miscellaneous drainage & approach work, possible one-lane traffic at times.
