HANNIBAL - Weather permitting, MoDOT crews will be filling or sealing pavement cracks on southbound Route 61 from Canton and LaGrange. Beginning Monday, November 2 through Friday, November 6, repairs will take place in the southbound driving lane from Route B just north of Canton south to Route 16. The following week, Monday, November 9 through Friday, November 13, crews will be working in the southbound driving lane from Route 16 near Canton south to Route B just south of LaGrange.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane while the work is being performed with a reduced speed through the work zone of 45 mph. Traffic control will be in place to secure the safety of the motoring public as well as the safety of highway crews. Please use extra caution while traveling through the work zone.
All roadwork is posted on the traveler information map on the day it begins. Those traveling and commuting public are encouraged to check the online map at www.modot.org daily for new work zones.
