HANNIBAL - Rain and poor ground conditions postponed culvert work in Lewis County last week. MoDOT crews have rescheduled the closures for the following routes listed below for culvert replacements on the dates and times indicated. Motorists are urged to use alternate routes during these times; MoDOT personnel will be redirecting traffic.

• Route 156 - Monday, November 2 closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., culvert located approximately ½ mile west of the Route D north junction.
• Route H - Tuesday, November 3 closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. approximately 2 miles north of Lewistown, culvert located just south of County Road 322 or 190th Street.

All roadwork is posted on the traveler information map on the day it begins.  Those traveling and commuting public are encouraged to check the online map at www.modot.org daily for new work zones.  MoDOT also offers e-update messages sent directly to your email when roadwork is scheduled.  Sign up online or call MoDOT's customer service center at 1-888-275-6636.
