HANNIBAL - The following is a list of general highway construction and maintenance scheduled for October 26 through November 6 for all counties in MoDOT's northeast district. Weather conditions may cause postponements in the work schedule. Other maintenance work may occur on other roads throughout the area. This work will include lane closures and at times delays can be expected.

Crews will be working during daylight work hours unless otherwise indicated. Various forms of traffic control will be in place to secure the safety of the motoring public as well as the safety of highway crews.

All roadwork is posted on the traveler information map on the day it begins or at least one week in advance. Those traveling and the commuting public are encouraged to check the online map at www.modot.org daily for new work zones. Drivers are also invited to rate MoDOT work zones online at modot.org. Audrain County
Construction:
Route 15 -Paving operations completed in Mexico; conditions permitting paving operations north of Mexico should be complete by Monday, Nov. 2, 2009; location 24.3 miles in Audrain and Monroe Counties from one mile north of Route 22 to just north of Route 54 at Mexico.
Maintenance:
Route EE - Oct. 26-30 spot patching, some areas with one lane traffic & flaggers.
Minor Routes - Oct. 26 - Nov. 6 mowing, moving operation with blocker truck.
Route 22 - Oct. 26-30 shoulder repairs, no closures.
Route 19 - Oct. 26 - Nov. 6 crack sealing roadway, some areas with one lane traffic & flaggers.
Route 54 - Nov. 2-3 painting H piles, no road closure.

Callaway County
Maintenance:
All Routes - Oct. 26-30 mowing, moving operation with blocker truck.

Clark County
Construction:
Route 61/27 - 98% complete - Painting centerline and edgeline on 5 disconnected sections in southbound lanes from the Iowa State line south to the Lewis County line; moving operation one-lane traffic southbound.
Maintenance:
Route EE - Resurfacing postponed due to weather, scheduling pending- road to be closed for resurfacing from Business Route 136, just east of Kahoka, east to state maintenance ends. Crews will begin working on the east end of Route EE and will proceed west approximately 5 miles.
Routes 61, 136 and 81 - Oct. 26-30 working on shoulders, moving operation with grader and protective truck.
Various Routes - Oct. 26-Nov. 6 working on sign log.
Various Routes - Oct. 28-30 replacing culverts in driveways around Wayland, little traffic interruption expected.
Route 136 - Nov. 4-5 painting H piles, no road closure.

Knox County
Maintenance:
Route 15 - Oct. 27 seeding banks, no lane closer.
Route V - Oct. 27-30 working on scours under bridges, signs up.
Routes KK, V and 15 - Oct. 26-30 installing field entrances, short-term lane closure.
Routes 151, A and E - Nov. 2-5 patching potholes, no lane closer.
Route V - Nov. 2-6 working on bridges, signs up.
Routes K, M and 11 - Nov. 2-6 working on shoulders and driveways, one-lane closures.

Lewis County
Maintenance:
Route H - Oct. 26 closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. approximately 2 miles north of Lewistown, culvert located just south of County Road 322 or 190th Street.
Route 156 - Oct. 28 closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., culvert located approximately ½ mile west of the Route D north junction.
Route 61 - Oct. 26-30 removing raised pavement markers on northbound lanes; the passing lane will be closed starting 1.5 miles south of LaGrange to 3 miles north of Canton. Work zones will be no more than a 2-mile section at a given time.
Major Routes - Oct. 26-30 mowing, moving operation with follow truck.
Route D - Oct. 29 cleaning ditches, one lane road with flaggers.
Route A - Nov. 4-5 working on drainage issues, no closures.
Various Routes - Nov. 6 frost prep on bridges, no road closure.
Route 61, ramps at Routes C, P, and 16 - Nov. 2-6 erosion control work with motorgrader, ramps will remain open but will be narrowed down while work takes place.

Lincoln County
Construction:
Route 61 at Route U interchange - Project 55% complete - Bridge incidental clean up and grading roadbeds in preparation for baserock.
Maintenance:
Routes WW & AA - Oct. 26-29 hot mix patching, single lane traffic with flaggers.
Route 47 (West) - Oct. 30 - Nov. 6 hot mix patching, single lane traffic with flaggers.
Route W - Oct. 30 cleaning ditches, single lane traffic with flaggers.
All Routes - Oct. 26 - Nov. 6 mowing, moving operation with blocker truck.

Marion County
Maintenance:
Route 168 - Oct. 27 working on edge rut repairs, moving operation.
Routes 36 and 61 - Oct. 26-30 working on erosion control under bridges and on right of way, no lane closure.

Monroe County
Construction:
Route 15- Job 83% complete- conditions permitting paving operations north of Mexico should be complete by Monday, Nov. 2, 2009; location 24.3 miles in Audrain and Monroe Counties from one mile north of Route 22 to just north of Route 54 at Mexico.
Route 151 - (Includes Shelby County) - Conditions permitting, beginning Saturday, Oct. 24, contractor will start paving operations north end of Clarence and work south. Resurfacing from Business Route 36 at Clarence to Route 24 at Madison, 22 miles.

Montgomery County
Construction:
Route AC - Project 58% complete - Placing and typing deck rebar, pouring deck. Road closed thru Nov. 20 to rehabilitate Cuivre River Bridge; detours over Routes AC, K, W, BB, 161.
Maintenance:
Minor Routes - Oct. 26-30 mowing, moving operation with blocker truck.
Routes 19 & 94 - Oct. 26 & 27 spot hot mix patching, single lane traffic with flaggers.
All routes - Nov. 2-6 replacing signs, shoulder work.

Pike County
Construction:
Route 61 - 43% complete, rumble strips, stripes and incidental work remains on diamond grinding project; moving operation with southbound traffic one lane during daytime work hours between Bowling Green and Eolia.
Maintenance:
Routes UU & Z - Oct. 26 hot mix patching, single lane traffic with flaggers.
Routes HH & D - Oct. 27 - Oct. 30 hot mix patching, single lane traffic with flaggers.
All Routes - Oct. 26 - Nov. 6 mowing, moving operation with blocker truck.
Route 79 - Oct. 26 - Nov. 6 culvert repairs, shoulder work only.

Ralls County
Construction:
Route P - Job 65% complete; placing metal decking, and placing and tying deck rebar. Road closed through Nov. 20 to rehabilitate Spencer Creek Bridge; road will be closed at the bridge with detours over Routes K, 19, 154.
Maintenance:
Routes 36 and 61 - Oct. 26-30 working on erosion control under bridges and on right of way, no lane closure.
Routes 36 and 61 - Nov. 2-6 working on erosion control under bridges and on right of way, no lane closure.

Scotland County
Maintenance:
Routes 15 and 136 - Oct. 26-30 working on signs, no road closure.
Route JJ - Nov. 2-3 repairing edge ruts, moving operation.
Route N - Nov. 5-6 repairing edge ruts, moving operation.
Route 15 - Nov. 6 painting H piles, no road closure.

Shelby County
Construction:
Route 151 - (Includes Monroe County) - Conditions permitting, beginning Saturday, Oct. 24, contractor will start paving operations north end of Clarence and work south. Resurfacing from Business Route 36 at Clarence to Route 24 at Madison, 22 miles.
Route 36 - Project Status: Overall Project 75% complete - Shelby County area - 65% complete - Contractor will be paving near Hunnewell and on the eastbound lanes at Salt River.  There are 3 temporary connections near Salt River.  The speed limit in this work zone is 45 mph. Base Rock operations active from east of Shelbina to the west side of Shelbina. The activities listed will create excessive truck traffic. Watch for trucks turning in and out of entrances. The westbound on/off ramps at Routes 36/15 at Shelbina are closed off for the contractor will pave a portion of the new highway, rebuild part of the ramps, and tie it in to the existing highway. Motorists driving west will be directed to take the first Shelbina exit to access Route 15 north and south. Detours clearly signed. Marion County area - 80% complete - Contractor will be grading at the west edge of Monroe City on the new eastbound lanes. There are two temporary connections just west of Monroe City. Speed Limit at various locations in this area are 35 mph and 45 mph where posted. Macon/Shelby County - Contractor has completed mainline paving from the West end of the project to Crooked Creek, approximately 1 mile West of Lentner.  Contractor continues hand pave at median crossovers and is laying aggregate base in preparation for paving further East yet this year.  All major earthwork is complete and only finishing and fine grading remain.  Work has resumed on the Route 36 bridge over Route FF since the bridge fills are now complete.  The Route 151 bridge over Route 36 was opened last month.

Routes DD, TT, A and WW - Oct. 28-30 patching potholes, no closure.

Routes AA, U, T and Z - Nov. 2-3 patching potholes, no closure.
Routes 36 and 15 - Nov. 4-5 blading shoulders, no closure.
Route N - Nov. 4-6 hand patching and ditch work, temporary lane closure.
Route 36 - Nov. 6 patching potholes, no closure.

Warren County
Construction:
Interstate 70 westbound - Project 42% complete; paving operation in progress at night on westbound lanes. Work will take place at night, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Resurfacing from just west of Route 47 to the Montgomery county line.
Maintenance:
I-70 median & shoulders - Oct. 26-30 mowing operation.
Route 94 @ Treloar Creek Bridge closed - Oct. 27 & 28 structure repairs.
I-70 Outer Roads - Nov. 2-6 pothole patching, single lane traffic with flaggers.
Route AA (various locations) - Nov. 2-6 repairing culvert pipes, single lane traffic with flaggers.
Route 94 - Nov. 2-6 replacing culvert pipes, single lane traffic with flaggers.
All routes - Nov. 2-6 replacing signs, shoulder work.
