Jack Cowden has retired from the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) after 32 years of service. Jack was a senior highway designer at MoDOT's district office at the time of his retirement, October 1, 2009.

Friends, family and co-workers recently honored Cowden with a retirement celebration at the District Office. Although Jack hasn't made a firm decision on how he'll be spending his time now that he's retired, he's happy to be able to have more time to spend with his family.

Jack and his wife, Marilyn reside in Ralls County.
