HANNIBAL - The Warren County R-III Public School District will host an informational meeting about the improvements to be made at the intersection of Route 47 and Warrior Avenue next summer. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 27 between 4 and 6 p.m. at the Warren County R-III High School athletic lobby.

"This is a partnership among the City, MoDOT and school district," said MoDOT Transportation Project Manager Chris Knapp. "We are all working together to improve safety at this intersection, as well as reduce congestion," he continued.

Plans for the project will be on display, and staff from MoDOT and the City of Warrenton will be available to answer any questions. The design of this project is underway, and construction is expected to begin in the summer of 2008.
