SIKESTON—Route U in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform shoulder work.
This section of roadway is located from U.S. Highway 61 to County Road 732 near New Madrid, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, March 25 through Thursday, March 28 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
