JEFFERSON CITY - Missouri's latest aeronautical chart is now available, at no charge, to pilots and other aviation enthusiasts. The 2013-2014 Missouri Aeronautical Chart is produced by the Missouri Department of Transportation as a planning tool for pilots and users of Missouri's aviation system.
More than 450 aviation facilities are on the chart, including the state's 125 public-use airports, 108 of which are publicly owned. Other aeronautical information, such as communication frequencies, navigation data and tower locations, also is included.
Funding to produce the chart comes from aviation fuel taxes through the State Aviation Trust Fund.
Aeronautical charts are available at most local airports in Missouri, by contacting MoDOT's customer service center toll-free at 1-888-ASK-MODOT (888-275-6636) or by sending an email to email@example.com.
