KANSAS CITY, Mo. - After months of community engagement across the state, the Missouri Department of Transportation will reveal Missouri's long-term transportation plan on Thursday, Nov. 7, at Union Station in Kansas City. This comprehensive plan helps identify needs and solutions that champion a safe and reliable transportation system, ensures economic prosperity for Missouri, and outlines how Kansas City is a vital hub to the state's transportation future. Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission Chairman Lloyd Carmichael and MoDOT Director Dave Nichols, will explain that, among us, we have a vision for our transportation's future, where motorists stay safe and communities throughout the state prosper. Without a vision, the future is more congestion.
