KANSAS CITY - I-35 will be reduced to one lane at times southwest of the Downtown Loop for lane restriping and protective temporary concrete barrier placement.
Southbound I-35 between 20th Street and Jarboe Street will be one lane from 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, to 5 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18. Both northbound and southbound I-35 will be reduced to one lane between Cambridge Circle and Southwest Trafficway from 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, to 5 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19.
The ramp from Cambridge Circle to northbound I-35 also will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
The work is part of $40 million to redeck, rehabilitate or replace 18 bridges in and around the Downtown Loop in 40 weeks. All work is scheduled to be completed by mid-December.
