Excellent: condition
means that the unit looks great. The unit is clean inside
and out including the engine compartment. The paint is glossy
and the body and interior are free of any wear of visible
defects. There is no rust. This is an exceptional unit.
Good:
condition means that the unit is free of any major defects.
The paint, body and interior have only minor (if any) blemishes.
Rust should be very minimal. Tires are the proper size,
match and have substantial tread wear left. Unit is clean
inside and out.
Fair:
condition means that the unit has some cosmetic defects.
The paint, body and/or interior need work. There may be
some repairable rust damage. Unit is not clean inside or
out.
Poor:
condition means that the unit has severe cosmetic defects.
The unit may have problems that can't be readily fixed such
as a damaged frame or a rusted through body. Unit is dirty
and has been neglected. Road oil has been allowed to build
up on frame.
Mechanical
Condition
Excellent: condition means that the unit is in excellent mechanical condition with no leaks or problems of any kind. Tires are new or nearly new and are the proper size and match.
Good:
condition means that the unit is free of any major mechanical
problems. Tires have substantial tread wear left and are
the proper size.
Fair:
condition means that the unit has some mechanical defects,
but is in safe operating condition. Tires are worn but within
requirements.
Poor:
condition means that the unit has major mechanical defects
but may be operated safely. Example: excessive oil usage,
transmission or differntial noise.
Out
of Service: condition means the unit has a safety - related
problem. Example: brakes, steering, tires, warning devices
(backup alarm, emergency lighting.) Or any mechanical condition
that further usage would cause additional cost or damage.
