House Bill 1402

Introduced by Representatives Burlison - This bill is related to transportation, and specifically Sections 226.500 and 226.541, regulation of Outdoor Advertising.

Introduced by Senator Stouffer - This bill established procedure for resetting billboards during periods of                                    highway construction. 

Senate Bill 77

Introduced by Senator Stouffer - This bill expands the types of directional signs which may be erected and maintained within highway right-of-ways.

House Bill 430 - Vetoed


On July 8, 2011, Governor Nixon vetoed House Bill 430, therefore the provisions relating to outdoor advertising will not go into effect.  Review a copy of Governor Nixon's veto letter.

Introduced by Representative Burlison - This bill changes the laws regarding Billboards, specifically Sections 226.540 and adding Section 226.541.
