The House That Cans Built

Amtrak has begun an aluminum can recycling program to help build a house for a deserving family.  Starting in early July, aluminum cans collected from the twice-daily St. Louis to Kansas City service are being dropped off daily at the capital city Amtrak station. The River City Habitat for Humanity is using the proceeds from the cans on a home currently under construction in Jefferson City. House

No MOre Trash! Bash Nets 128,000 Bags of Trash

Missouri volunteers stepped up to make Missouri a little more beautiful during the No MOre Trash! Bash in April. Thousands of people worked to pick up 128,000 bags of trash.
